Sea Dog | Fine Art Print | Reproduction of Original
Archival Reproduction Print of original painting on Fine Art Paper, Canvas, or Stretched Canvas.
Artist’s Note: “Harbor seals are known to be curious and playful and are affectionately known as ‘sea dogs’ in Maine.”
Harbor seals range in color from brown to gray, with visible spotting, and blend in well with their surroundings when hauled out on a rock or ledge. They can be found in coastal waters of both the North Atlantic and North Pacific and are year-round residents along the Maine coast.
This painting was inspired by a photograph taken by the Mount Desert Island photographer Nate Parker and used with permission.

To ensure the highest quality, each reproduction print is professionally printed on gallery and museum-quality materials using giclée archival inks for rich color and detail. Paper Prints are printed on 100% cotton, smooth matte, archival fine art paper. Canvas and Stretched Canvas Prints are printed on Archival Canvas Matte.
Paper and Canvas prints are sold unframed, with an additional 1/4” - 1/2" white border for easy framing.
Stretched Canvas prints are stretched onto Fredrix Stretcher Bars which are kiln dried Ponderosa Pine grown in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. The edges have a mirror image border (the artwork wraps around the sides of the framing bars) so these prints can be displayed as-is, without needing additional framing.
All prints are made to order so please allow up to 1-2 weeks for prints to ship. Custom sizing available by request.
Shipping: Packaged neatly and carefully, to ensure safe shipping. Paper and Canvas 12x12” prints and larger are shipped rolled in a mailing tube. Smaller prints are mailed flat unless accompanied by a larger piece. Stretched Canvas Prints are mailed flat.
Note: the print has been photographed both framed and unframed to help you envision what it could look like in your space. Any framing or styling accessories pictured here are not included with purchase.
